Hydrogen Burners

Carbon dioxide, a significant cause of air pollution, is a by-product of manufacturing processes in various industries. Recently, the owner of industrial technology 'John Zink Hamworthy Combustion' (JZHC), which BE Petrothai Group is an authorized distributor in Thailand, has invented a burner that can support hydrogen fuel. Hydrogen can be an alternative fuel that reduces pollution in production.

However, the burner that supports hydrogen fuel must be controlled with maximum safety in many factors. For example, the flow of liquids, heat transfer process, the ability of the burner to work with various fuel, the optimum temperature of the burner, NOx emissions and noise, etc.

Many technologies are needed to design and customize the most suitable burner for a particular plant, such as computers to analyze and simulate various flow behaviors (Computational Fluid Dynamic - CFD), Combustion tests, etc.

Recently, hydrogen fuel burners have been implemented in petrochemical plants, which perform good efficiency. Moreover, Boiler applications that use hydrogen fuel in electric power plants also work effectively. This will lead to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. (Net Zero Emission)
