In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we have started replacing a portion of our car fleet with electric vehicles (EVs) since August 1st, 2022. This transition took approximately four months and resulted in a remarkable reduction of 5,367 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (which is equivalent to 167 - 247 trees).
BE Petrothai Group was recognized with an honorable mention from the Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) project on February 28th, 2023. The LESS project is a program that supports activities aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and is overseen by the Pollution Control Department (PCD) under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Although this is only a small starting point, it serves as confirmation of the Group's determination to contribute to the creation of a sustainable, green society.
